BangkokPost - UN Secretary-general Ban Ki-Moon will meet with Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej on Saturday after his trip to Burma, to discuss assistance for victims of Cyclone Nargis, Foreign Minister Noppadon Pattama said Tuesday.

Then, he and Mr Samak will go to Rangoon to attend a conference organised by the UN and Asean to call for further aid to the Burmese victims from other countries.

The conference will be held on Sunday.

Mr Noppadon also said he is scheduled to go to France to attend a UNESCO meeting to discuss the Phreah Vihear temple.

He is expected to meet with Cambodian officials to discuss the controversial land around the temple.
